Big Update About Our Weekly Services!
THE DATA IS CLEAR. WE ARE CONSOLIDATING TWO SERVICES INTO ONE LARGER AND MORE VIBRANT SERVICE!
Dear Church Family & Friends,
In September 2017, I asked you to join Grace Road Church to explore how we can best serve the diverse and changing demographics attending our church. I stated in a written letter that we would conduct “A/B Testing” to determine which time of day makes the most sense. Since that time our church has virtually doubled in size, and the marching orders are clear!
After four months of assessment, the evidence shows that most people overwhelmingly prefer attending church earlier in the day. The first service is consistently larger than the second service. Therefore, we will move forward with one 10 a.m. service, which seems to represent the most realistic time of day for most individuals and families.
Beginning Sunday, February 11th, Grace Road Church will move forward with one larger worship experience at 10 a.m. This change includes all corresponding kid’s church classrooms.
I am personally excited about this development because it will surely foster more connections and friendships between people currently attending different service times. I encourage you to open your “friendship” receptors and make room for meeting new people.
God is doing amazing things in our church community. Yes, we’ve seen many new people added to the community (and many more are coming). More importantly, however; we are growing stronger and stronger in the knowledge of God’s love towards us through His son Jesus Christ.
Please join me in supporting this exciting next step in our journey together!
